Muscle Fitness can mean you have more powerful muscles that can lift heavier objects or muscles that will work longer before becoming exhausted (endurance). As you increase your muscle fitness, you will notice that you can carry heavy grocery bags more easily, pick up children without feeling as much strain, or carry heavy items longer before becoming too tired to continue. Having stronger muscles also protects your joints.
Benefits of resistance training
Muscles become stronger through a 3-step process:
When you exercise against resistance, you stress your muscles slightly but not to the point of serious damage or injury. When you rest, your body rebuilds the muscles and the connective tissues between them (joints, tendons, and ligaments) in a way that prepares them for the next time they will be stressed. When you stress the same muscles again, the process is repeated and the muscles gradually become stronger.
A resistance-training program to increase muscle fitness can include:
Swimming, cycling, and skiing are activities that improve both muscle strength and aerobic fitness.
When you begin your muscle-conditioning activity, try to take 5 to10 minutes to walk, jog in place, or do other activities to warm up, and do some stretches. Learn and pay attention to the proper form for all exercises.
As you build muscle strength and endurance, you will notice that you can do more and more of each exercise. Some people will see a change in the way their muscles look, but others will not see a change for a long while. A more important sign of progress is how many repetitions and sets of an exercise you can do, or how much easier it feels to do them. This means your muscle fitness has improved.
Talk to your health professional before starting a resistance-lifting program, particularly if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, or joint problems.
Walking and doing daily activities in Orthotebb Shoes are an excellent, low impact exercise for building muscle fitness in the leg, hips, rear end, low abdomen and lower back muscles. The negative heel design strengthens these muscle groups through the balancing on the platform under the front two-thirds of the foot as you walk. With repeated use and gradual increase in use time, these muscles will strengthen, lengthen, improve your core strength, burn more calories and increase the body's metabolic rate and endurance.
Make sure to start slowly, increase use as your body allows and allow your body to rest occasionally, giving your muscles a chance to recover. After participating in any kind of strenuous physical activity, particularly something new to your body, it is common to experience muscle soreness, say experts.
Be sure to stretch before and after extensive use of Orthotebb Shoes. Place the back foot, heel down and take a small step forward. Keeping the rear heel down, lean forward, bending the front knee and you'll feel a good stretch from the Achilles tendon up through the gluteus, where they work.
As you use Orthotebbs, there are two positions at rest, which stretch the muscles. To rest, keep your shoulders back, place your feet together and relax back on your ankles. The heels will touch the ground and give your legs a good calf and Achilles stretch. The other position at rest is one heel down (your back foot), the front foot out at a 45-degree angle, resting on the flat pad under the foot. Switch feet to rest if the stretching on the back foot becomes tiresome.
Your muscles fitness will improve. Orthotebbs build long, strong muscles, which are more efficient than muscle-bound muscles. As you strengthen and stretch, becoming stronger and more limber, you'll have never felt better!
